Hemlock Happening

The Hemlock Happening is an annual event held in Bramcote Hills Park that attracts many thousands of visitors to view and enjoy and take part in a huge programme of entertainment. The first event was organised by the Bramcote and Stapleford Golden Jubilee Group to celebrate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and it has been repeated annually since then. Ten years later, in 2012, the event focussed on the celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.  In 2014 the Hemlock Happening will be held on Saturday 7 June. There will be a full programme of entertainment and it is anticipated that many thousands of people will attend and everyone will have a great time. The opening ceremony will be at 1pm on the Main Stage in Bramcote Hills Park and attended by our MP, the Mayor of Broxtowe and the Mayor of Stapleford. Staged events will continue on the Main Stage throughout the day ending with a fabulous firework display at 10:30pm. There will be many additional exhibitions and activities in Bramcote Hills Park from 1pm to 5pm. The event is organised by the Bramcote and Stapleford Golden Jubilee Group in association with the Arts and Events Team at Broxtowe Borough Council.
